Aileen's Surf Guide

Aileen's in Clare is an exposed reef break that has inconsistent surf with no particular seasonal pattern. The best wind direction is from the east with some shelter here from east winds. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the west southwest. No reef break here. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Likely to be crowded if working. Take care of rocks and rips.
