Arbroath Surf Guide
Arbroath on the East Coast is a sheltered beach and point break that has fairly consistent surf. Winter and spring are the optimum times of year to visit. Offshore winds blow from the northwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the optimum swell angle is from the north. The beach break provides left and right handers and there is a left hand point break too. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Take care of rips and rocks.
