Ashkelon Shimshon Surf Guide
Ashkelon Shimshon in Tel Aviv and South is a fairly exposed sandbar break that does not work very often. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the southeast and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Surfable in an onshore breeze Waves more likely to be from local windswells than distant groundswells and the ideal wave direction is from the west northwest. Waves at the sandbar break both left and right. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Rarely crowded here.
