Balian Surf Guide
Balian in Bali (West Coast) is an exposed reef break that has consistent surf. May-Oct (Dry Season) is the favoured time of year for waves. Offshore winds blow from the northeast. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. Reef breaks provide lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Watch out for rocks.
