Bananier in Guadeloupe - Grande Terre is an exposed beach and point break that has quite reliable surf. Ideal winds are from the northwest. Groundswells and windswells are equally likely and the ideal swell direction is from the east. Waves at the beach break both left and right and in addition, there is also a left hand point break. It's sometimes crowded here. Water quality is rather poor here.
