Berrys Beach in Phillip Island is a fairly exposed reef break that has unreliable waves with no particular seasonal pattern. Offshore winds blow from the northwest with some shelter here from northwest winds. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. There is a right hand reef break. Best around high tide. When the surf is up, crowds are likely Watch out for rocks, rips and sharks.
