Blackies Surf Guide
Blackies in Orange County is a reasonably exposed beach and point break that only works once in a while. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the northeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west. The beach breaks consists of lefts and there is a left hand point break as well. Best around low tide when the tide is rising. It's often crowded here. Take care of the strong rips here.
