Cable Bay Surffoto: 'Cable Bay from Pepin Island' by Rob Davies

Pepin Island is privately owned so you don't often see this view of Cable Bay. Pepin Island was opened for a day to walkers and mountain bikers to raise funds for Hira fire service. More than 1000 showed up but we made and early start to beat the rush. Small waves and a rising NW wind are a precursors to a locally generated 2.5m swell that evening.
