Conil Surf Guide
Conil in Andalucia is an exposed river break that has reasonably consistent surf. Ideal winds are from the northeast. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west southwest. Waves at the river tend to peel to the left. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Be wary of rips - they make surfing here dangerous.
