Dee Dees Surf Guide
Dee Dees in the Waiararpa is an exposed reef break that has inconsistent surf. Summer in particular tends to be flat. The best wind direction is from the north northeast. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell direction is from the south. Reef breaks provide lefts and rights. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. Relatively few surfers here, even on good days. Watch out for rocks.
