Extensions Surf Guide
Extensions in Cape Peninsula is an exposed beach and reef break that has reasonably consistent surf. Autumn and winter are the optimum times of year for waves. Offshore winds are from the east. Able to handle light onshore wind Groundswells are more common than windswells and the optimum swell angle is from the west. The beach breaks peel to the right and there is right hand reef break too.. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Watch out for rocks.
