Flume Beach Surf Guide
Flume Beach in Far West of Victoria is a reasonably exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best wind direction is from the north northeast and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Groundswells are more common than windswells and the best swell direction is from the southeast. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Be wary of rips - they make surfing here dangerous.
