Freshwater east Surf Guide
Freshwater east in Pembrokeshire is a fairly exposed beach and reef break that only works once in a while. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the west. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights and there is a right hand reef break as well.. Best around high tide when the tide is rising. When it's working here, it can get crowded. Beware of rips, crowds / rocks.
