Green Island Surf Guide
Green Island on the South Coast is an exposed reef break that is usually a safe bet, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Ideal winds are from the northeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the south southeast. There is a left hand reef break. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. Sometimes crowded. Hazards include urchins, rocks, locals and sharks.
