La Arena Surf Guide
La Arena in Pais Vasco is a fairly exposed beach break that has pretty consitent surf. Autumn and winter are the best times of year for waves. The best wind direction is from the south southeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the northwest. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. Good surf at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Surfing here means negotiating dangerous rips.
