La Caracola Surf Guide
La Caracola in Caribbean Coast is a quite exposed beach break that has consistent surf. Autumn and winter are the optimum times of year for waves. Works best in offshore winds from the southwest. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the northeast. The beach break provides left and right handers. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Watch out for rips and private access.
