Rossbeigh Strand Surf Guide
Rossbeigh Strand in County Kerry is a fairly exposed beach break that has pretty consitent surf and can work at any time of the year. Works best in offshore winds from the northeast with some shelter here from north winds. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west southwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded.
