Scott Creek-Beach in Santa Cruz is an exposed beach and reef break that has pretty consitent surf. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. Offshore winds blow from the east. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the west southwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Hazards include rips, sharks and rocks.
