Shitpipe Surf Guide
Shitpipe on the North Coast is a fairly exposed reef break that has reasonably consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Works best in offshore winds from the southwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the northwest. Both left and right reef breaks. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when there are waves, it's not likley to be crowded. Beware of rocks and pollution.
