Staithes Surf Guide
Staithes in North East England is a fairly exposed reef break that has inconsistent surf. Winter and spring are the best times of year to visit. Ideal winds are from the south southwest. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the north. There is a left breaking reef. Water quality is rather poor here.
