Venus Bay Surf Guide
Venus Bay on the West Coast is an exposed reef break that has consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. The best wind direction is from the east northeast. Clean groundswells prevail and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. There are left and right breaking reefs. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It's sometimes crowded here. Watch out for rips, rocks and sharks.
