The best wind direction is from the south and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Clean groundswells prevail and the best swell direction is from the north. The beach break provides left and right handers and in addition there are both left and right reef breaks. Good surf at all stages of the tide. An uncrowded break, even when it is working.
