Yona Bay Surf Guide
Yona Bay in Okinawa is an exposed beach break that only works once in a while. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Ideal winds are from the southeast. Waves more likely to be from local windswells than distant groundswells and the best wave direction is from the north. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Relatively few surfers here, even on good days. Take care to avoid the rocks.
