Pastures in Western Cape is a reasonably exposed beach and reef break that does not work very often. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Works best in offshore winds from the southeast. Surfable in an onshore breeze Tends to receive distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the west southwest.The break here is a left hand point. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It's sometimes crowded here. Watch out for dangerous rips.
