Anakena Surf Guide
Anakena on the North Coast is a fairly exposed beach break that has inconsistent surf. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. Offshore winds blow from the southeast. Groundswells are more common than windswells and the best swell direction is from the northwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Rarely crowded here. Surfing here means negotiating dangerous rips.
